Smell

Taste

The Epicurean shows its full strength on the palate. The flavours unfold sparkling and lively, supported by a pleasant maltiness that gives the whisky body. The sour, lemony note, which was already noticeable on the nose, is particularly present here and makes for a refreshing, almost tangy experience. An oily texture helps to ensure that the flavours completely fill the mouth. Light caramel and brown sugar notes round off the flavour profile, resulting in a balanced sweet and sour harmony that makes this whisky special.

Finish

The finish of the Epicurean is short to medium in length and leaves a light but pleasantly bitter aftertaste. The flavours of honey and caramel linger gently on the palate and ensure a harmonious finish that underlines the refreshing character of the whisky.
